DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND CIVIL AVIATION, GOVERNMENT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH The emblem of the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Himachal Pradesh (DTCA,HP) has a portion of an apple and two pine trees surmounted by peaks of mountains and crested by sun. These are supported by its name ‘Himachal Tourism’. The red, green, yellow and black coloured insignia aptly informs the viewer about what the State has to offer to a tourist. The logo is interesting, unique and attractive.

ICAR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE ON POST HARVEST ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY The emblem of ICAR-Central Institute on Post Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) has an apple protected by a pair of hands and supported by a pair of ears of a cereal is ensconced by a gear wheel. The apple and ears are protected by the caring hands with the support of technology and engineering as represented by the gear. Below the gear, the acronym of the Institute is written in Devanagari and English.

ICAR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TEMPERATE HORTICULTURE The emblem of ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH) has blue a circular border bearing the name of the institute a and its year of inception ensconcing the pictures of apple, pear, plum, apricot, almond, walnut, cherry, kiwifruit, saffron, tulip, lilium, olive, a lens and a microscope. All these pictures represent the domain and scope of the Institute.

CHAUDHARY SARWAN KUMAR HIMACHAL PRADESH KRISHI VISHVAVIDYALAYA The circular predominantly green emblem of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV) has a motif of an apple holding the motifs of a pair of plough, head of a cattle, a flowing river, a pine tree, Mount Himalayas with rising sun, a pair of supporting crests of wheat and its name  on a green circular background. Below these, an open book is placed on which its motto is written oa brown banner. Below the spine of the book the year of inception of the university is written. The motifs represent the State of Himachal Pradesh and the domain of agriculture; the open book denotes education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
