NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY The circular emblem of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in black and red, has its acronym written as a thread with a swatch of triangular cloth piece forming the horizontal strokes and placed inside a white circle with black outline. The dot of ‘i’ has been made bigger as a red circle to represent the benefactors. The circle is ensconced by a white border with black outline, in which its name is written in Devanagari and English. The emblem is contemporary and easy to recognise.

HANDLOOM MARK The emblem of Handloom Mark (HM) is a pictorial in blue colour with eight interwoven threads forming a three dimensional shape, representing the weaving of the loom. This also tells about the interesting possibilities of handloom weaving and its products.

The gear wheel represents technology, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the cotton pod and thread represent the outcome of research in technology.
