MAHATMA JYOTI RAO PHULE UNIVERSITY The square greenish blue or teal coloured emblem of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule University (MJRPU) has a motif of exalting human standing atop the steps created by three books with halo and rays of achievement behind. The symbol states that the aspirant has achieved greatness through education. The colour teal symbolises decency and renovation.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY HAMIRPUR National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NITH) is one of the thirty-one NITs of the country, which came into existence on August 7, 1986 as Regional Engineering College (REC), a joint and cooperative enterprise of the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh. The status of Deemed University and upgraded to National Institute of Technology. Its circular emblem has a gear wheel in it. This holds a map of Himachal Pradesh with images of Himalayas forming the backdrop, with electrical transmission lines and a manufacturing plant at the foothill and a lake in the foreground. In the border its name, place and motto is written. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘उद्यमेन हि सिद्धयान्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः’ meaning ‘No Substitute for Hard Work’

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MANIPUR NIT Manipur started its first session on August 2, 2010 with only three branches of engineering namely - electrical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and computer science & engineering at Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus. Its insignia has a wheel hoe in blue colour containing a white border having its name written in Devanagari and English. In a circle inside this, a few books and a mortarboard hat supports a glowing sun with spreading rays.
