CHITTARANJAN NATIONAL CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE The insignia of Chittaranjan National Cancer Research Institute (CNCI) is a yellow shield housing the image of a crab suppressed by a pair of crossed arrows. This assembly is supported by a banner on which its acronym is written. The crab refers to cancer and the crossed arrows aim to defeat and cure one from cancer and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
