The border is inscribed with its name and two circular motifs of persons in yoga postures. The lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the colour peach symbolises immortality and lunar green wealth, health harmony and regeneration.

Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. GRAPHIC ERA Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) was known earlier as Graphic Era Institute of Technology which was in operation since 1997. The Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES) is a non-profit organisation. The emblem of the university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red.
