GMR GROUP It was in 1978, when G M Rao started off with a small jute mill and established, over three decades later, what is known today as GMR Group. Its logo in the form of a wordmark has ‘GMR’ written with bold sans serif letters with sharp trimmings and precise ends in blue, red and orange colours. The ‘M’ is made up of two vertical pointers, simulating infrastructure and construction placed above ‘G’ and ‘R’.
