PEOPLE’S UNIVERSITY The blue emblem of People’s University (PU) has a shield holding the motifs of an open book and mortarboard hat. The shield is supported by a circular swoosh ending with two dots symbolising two humans. These are further supported by a pair of laurels on sides and crested by a banner with its tagline ‘Beyond Limit’ and supported by a banner at the bottom with its motto in Sanskrit. The name of the university is written at the bottom. The laurels represent ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the shield represents protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the open book represent education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the oxford or mortarboard hat represents educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY The insignia of Presidency University (PU) has an open book which transforms into four flying birds. The open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom and the birds emerging from it refers to the nestling of students with education and fashioning them for flying in this open world of opportunities and challenges. The university offers food for thought, action and scholarship and lets them soar to greater heights of accomplishments in life. Below the motif, its motto ‘Gain More Knowledge Reach Greater Heights’ is written in two lines.

PRATAP UNIVERSITY The emblem of Pratap University (PU) is a shield in brown and yellow tones holding a moustache and rising sun supporting an open book and its name. The brown shield has a yellow border. The brown moustache is inspired by the great Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the open book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the rising sun symbolises ight, universal prosperity and path for growth; the colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

POORNIMA UNIVERSITY The blue colour circular seal of Poornima University (PU) has a glowing gear wheel housing the monogram of its acronym and circumscribed by its name and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् विना न किमपि साध्यम्’ meaning ‘Nothing can be Achieved Without Hard Work’. All these are ensconced by a blue border line. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
