THE LADAKH SCOUTS The Ladakh Scouts, also known as the Snow Warriors or Snow Tigers, is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. Specializing in mountain warfare, the regiment's primary role is to guard India's borders in the high-altitude areas of the Ladakh region, as well as Jammu & Kashmir in general. Raised as a paramilitary unit, the Ladakh Scouts were converted into an Army regiment in 2000. The Ladakh Scouts are recruited mainly from India's Ladakhi and Tibetan communities and are among the Indian Army's most decorated units. Its Regimental Centre is Jammu & Kashmir and its Regimental insignia is an Urial  native to the Ladakh Mountains. ONE STATION ONE PRODUCT Indian Railway launched One Station One Product scheme in Railway Stations from March 25, 2022. It aims to make each railway station a promotional hub and showcase destination for a local product giving a major boost to local industry to make each railway station a promotional hub and showcase destination for a local product, thereby giving a major boost to local industries by providing enhanced livelihood and welfare of local artisans, potters, weavers, handloom weavers, tribals, etc. The stations will act as a marketing channel in the form of an earmarked stall through which the local product distinct to the particular area will be sold.
