PANDIT DEENDAYAL UPADHYAYA SHEKHAWATI UNIVERSITY The emblem of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University (PDUSU) is shaped like a sun with glowing rays with a circular border housing the name and place of the university in Devanagari and English and its year of establishment. WIthin this border a torch with flame supported by an open book is placed on the map of the State of Rajasthan. Below the seal, on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्वलितो ज्ञानमय प्रदीपः’ (Shloka 1, Shri Badarayan Suprabhatam) meaning ‘Burning like a well-filled Oil Lamp Enlightened with the Light of Knowledge’ is inscribed. PANDIT DEENDAYAL ENERGY UNIVERSITY Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) has been established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act enacted on April 4, 2007. Its yellow ochre tone emblem has a book with burning flame placed inside a glowing sun on a shield. The shield is created with a pair of leaves on top and surrounded by its name written in red. At the bottom its motto ‘A Reservoir of Knowledge’ is written.
