ADICHUNCHANAGIRI UNIVERSITY The Adichunchanagiri University is situated in an unitary Campus of sixty seven acres at B.G. Nagara, Nagamangala Taluk of Mandya District, Karnataka. The emblem of the university is a shield with a tiara with red and violet border lines, has the acronym of its name written using a fancy serif font on a background of a globe. At the bottom of the shield its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ meaning ‘That which Liberates is Knowledge’ which forms part of a verse appearing in Vishnu-Purana (1.19.41). The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the tiara symbolises victory, high status, superiority and power.
