WORLD UNIVERSITY OF DESIGN World University of Design (WUD) is India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, established by the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. The logo of the university is made up of six intersecting lines in a heptagon on a black background. These intersections have created an abstract and virtual ‘W’ and ‘D’. Heptagon is known for mysticism and spirituality, which the university endeavours to unravel through its teaching and learning in design. It also symbolises the seven liberal arts and sciences of the mediaeval period. It symbolises seven planets and unity, harmony and stability as required in any design enterprise. The World University of Design (WUD) logo is a simple yet effective design that conveys the school's core values of creativity, innovation, and diversity. NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is a statutory public body constituted on October 12, 1993, under the Protection of Human Rights Ordinance, formed on September 28, 1993. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India is responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights, as defined by the Act i.e., ‘Rights relating to life, liberty, equality and dignity of the individual guaranteed by the constitution or embodied in the international covenants'. NHRC’s composition enjoys a robust legal fortitude, with a panel that features former judges of the Supreme Court, High Court and people experienced in human rights policy and execution. The logo for NHRC is an abstract mark logo comprising of a graphic and a Sanskrit proverb written in Devanagari script just beneath the graphic. The proverb is सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः, which means ‘May all live happily’.
