SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF TEXTILES AND MANAGEMENT The emblem of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM) has a shield with green outlines holding the motifs of a ball of cotton, a spool of thread, a gear wheel, a graduate with mortarboard hat, and its acronym in green background. Below the shield, on a white banner, the tagline of the Institute ‘Textile Management Excellence’ is written in green. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; spool and the ball represents the textiles; the gear wheel denotes industry, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the graduate with Oxford hat represents denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.

HARICHAND GURUCHAND UNIVERSITY The blue colour circular emblem of Harichand Guruchand University (HGU) has the monogram of its acronym placed on the motif of an open book surmounted by a mortarboard hat and supported by the numerals of its year of establishment. All theses are placed in a blue circle with white outline and ensconced by a blue border, which carries its name in Bengali and English. The open book symbolises knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the mortarboard or oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; saffron triangular flags on the border denote sacrifice; the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.  

PRAGYAN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Pragyan International University (PIU) has a motif of a flower in blue and red with the red petal depicted like an enthusiastic scholar with a mortarboard hat. This is surmounted by the glowing rays of the rising sun. All these motifs are ensconced in a brown circular border, which carries its motto ‘Education Empowerment Enlightenment’. This is further circumscribed by another brown border which carries the name of the university and has a pair of laurels. This seal is further supported by a multi-pointed star. The flower motif and the scholar with mortarboard hat signifies education, learning, wisdom, educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY HAMIRPUR National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NITH) is one of the thirty-one NITs of the country, which came into existence on August 7, 1986 as Regional Engineering College (REC), a joint and cooperative enterprise of the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh. The status of Deemed University and upgraded to National Institute of Technology. Its circular emblem has a gear wheel in it. This holds a map of Himachal Pradesh with images of Himalayas forming the backdrop, with electrical transmission lines and a manufacturing plant at the foothill and a lake in the foreground. In the border its name, place and motto is written. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘उद्यमेन हि सिद्धयान्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः’ meaning ‘No Substitute for Hard Work’

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MANIPUR NIT Manipur started its first session on August 2, 2010 with only three branches of engineering namely - electrical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and computer science & engineering at Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus. Its insignia has a wheel hoe in blue colour containing a white border having its name written in Devanagari and English. In a circle inside this, a few books and a mortarboard hat supports a glowing sun with spreading rays.
