A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture, Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS). For international perspective the term ‘National Museum of Mankind’ was adopted. Its logo has a slender dancing girl stylistically depicted in tribal art form in red on a background of yellow.

DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Indian citizen to access authentic documents and certificates such as driving licence, vehicle registration, academic mark list in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. Its name is written alongside and its tag line is written below the name.

The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ is written on a yellow banner placed below the seal. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the scrolls symbolise divine revelation, wisdom and destiny.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, ANANTNAG (WC ANANTNAG) The emblem of Government College for Women, Anantnag (WC Anantnag) features an eagle with its wings spread and supporting an oval seal. The motto in Urdu ‘زندگی شمع کی صورت ہو خدایا میری’, which translates to ‘O God! May My Life Be Like That of a Candle’. The chinar leaf refers to Jammu and Kashmir, the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lighted candle symbolises enlightenment and the removal of darkness (ignorance), representing how knowledge guides a student's path and spreads light into society.
