SANKALCHAND PATEL UNIVERSITY

Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM) was established by Shri. Sankalchand Patel in 1952. It established the Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) on May 9, 2016. The emblem of the university has a pictorial and a word mark. The pictorial has three swooshes of orange, fresh green and dark blue forming a flower-like shape and at its bottom has a orange circle ensconced by a running design of ten persons standing together. Alongside a portion of an open book is shown. At the right of the pictorial the name of the university is written in blue and orange. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘अथातो ज्ञानजिज्ञासा’ meaning ‘That is, the Curiosity for Knowledge’ is written at the bottom. The open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom; people standing together symbolises teamwork and collective wisdom and the three swooshes represent freedom, creativity and innovation.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments.
