TAMILNADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY

The Government of Tamil Nadu enacted Act No.(33) of 2008 to provide for the establishment and incorporation of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TTEU) in the State of Tamil Nadu for promoting excellence in teachers education, which came into effect from July 1, 2008. The yellow, green and blue emblem of TTEU consists of a crest with a ribbon with a shield in the centre of the crest. The shield is divided into three parts, which depicts the three major domains of education namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The first domain has the satellite antenna which depicts the communication and transmission. The second has the computer which denotes innovation and technology. The third has the teacher with students which describes psychology, sociology and management. Around the shield, the name of the University is imprinted in Tamil in a circle. In the ribbon the motto of the university 'ஓதி உணர்ந்து பிறர்க்கு உரை' is imprinted in Tamil, which means ‘Study Learn and Teach Others’.

BENGALURU NORTH UNIVERSITY The Government of Karnataka has notified the establishment of Bengaluru North University by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University through its Gazette Notification on August 13, 2015 and was inaugurated on September 21, 2017. This is a State University located in Kolar in Karnataka. The emblem of the university depicts the importance of the jurisdictional area through its geographical features, scientific development and the rhythm of people’s lives. The circular emblem has three concentric circles, which represent the conscious, subconscious and dreams. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal. NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY The red colour insignia of the Netaji Subhas University (NSU) has a shield holding a traditional lamp above which the acronym and place of the university are placed. The shield has a thick border. The top portion of the shield has another border ending as banners on either side carry the year of establishment of the university. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written.
