Below the circular seal, on a white banner with black outlines its motto in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रीन्नयजं पशुवर्थनम्’ meaning ‘Nation for Animals’ is inscribed.

The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
