National Institute of Technology Manipur (NIT Manipur) started its first session on August 2, 2010 with three branches of engineering namely - electrical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and computer science & engineering at Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus. Its insignia in red, orange, brown and blue colours has a wheel hoe in blue colour containing a white border having its name written in Devanagari and English. In a circle inside this, a few books and a mortarboard hat supports a glowing sun with spreading rays.

ETERNAL UNIVERSITY The orange and blue emblem of Eternal University (EU) has a globe in the tones of orange with a dove with a branch of olive flying above. The name of the university is written in black and red. Its motto ‘In Pursuit of Permanent Peace and Spiritual Brotherhood’ is written along the circumference of the globe. The dove with a branch of olive symbolises peace, innocence and purity; the globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION  Kalakshetra literally means a holy place of arts (Kala: Arts, Kshetra: Field or Holy place). Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its logotype in yellow ochre colour ‘kalakshetra’ is written in calligraphic style in lower case and over lapping this at its bottom ‘Foundation’ is written in brown colour.

GRAPHIC ERA Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) was known earlier as Graphic Era Institute of Technology which was in operation since 1997. The Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES) is a non-profit organisation. The emblem of the university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the torch symbolises  enlightenment and hope; the colour orange symbolises  energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
