THE UNIVERSITY OF TRANS-DISCIPLINARY HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY

The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) sponsored by the FRLHT Trust, was legislated by the Government of Karnataka, in 2013. The university promotes trans-disciplinary research and education. The logo of the university is a monogram using the acronym of the name ‘TDU’ in blue and yellow overlapping bold sans serif font, with the areas of intersections in the mixed colour - green. The name of the university is written in grey at the bottom aligned in right. The bold font and the strong colours with intersections aptly speak about the nature of the university and its stated goals. The colour blue represents trust, serenity, calmness, depth and loyalty; the colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour green indicates natural, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

MAULANA MAZHARUL HAQUE ARABIC AND PERSIAN UNIVERSITY Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic And Persian University (MMHAPU) Patna was established under the provisions of the Bihar State Universities Act. 1976. The cyan, green and red emblem of the university has a plaque with rising sun above flowing waters supported by two palm trees and crested its motto in Arabic ‘طلب العلم فريضة’ meaning ‘Seeking Knowledge is an Obligation’. It is circumscribed by its name in Arabic and Devanagari in green and cyan. At the bottom, on a banner its year of establishment is written. The rising sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the palm trees symbolise peace, abundance and victory and the flowing waters denote passage of time and life.

The image is surmounted by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil. On a red banner placed below the seal, the motto of the college ‘கற்போம் உயர்வோம்’ meaning ‘Let us Learn Let us Prosper’ is inscribed along with an open book.
