MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

The Akademi functions under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India through its governing council, is an autonomous body under the control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The emblem of IGRUA has Ashoka Chakra in the centre supported bywings on both sides. It has its name written in Devanagari and English on top and bottom respectively in dark red colour.

The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).
