MALWANCHAL UNIVERSITY

The emblem of Malwanchal University (MU) has a blue circle holding a gold and brown shield housing the motifs of sun, globe, a pair of lions and a pair of leaves along with its name. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels on sides and by a red banner at the bottom carrying its motto ‘Committed to Excellence’, within a gold circular line. The blue circle is ensconced by a golden ornamental border. The shield denotes safety, protection, readiness to overcome difficulties, power, valiance and cooperation; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour brown refers to earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and the colour gold refers to wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
