RIMT UNIVERSITY
RIMT University was started in 1998 by Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational and Social Welfare Trust. The red and blue emblem of the university has an open book crested by a traditional lamp and decorated on both sides by floral designs. At the bottom a blue colour lotus is supporting all these motifs. Below the lotus on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ meaning ‘Lead Me from Darkness to Light’ is written.The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom ; the lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the colour red  signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, REASI (GDC REASI) The emblem of Government Degree College, Reasi (GDC Reasi) features a circle housing the motifs of a landscape of a mountain range with river flowing, a lightning bolt or power symbol and the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written. The name and place of the college is written around the circle. A purple laurel supports the seal. The mountains and river refer to the local topography of snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountain ranges; the lightning bolt symbiosis raw energy, power, enlightenment, and the sparking of knowledge; and the laurels represent a traditional laurel wreath, which symbolises academic triumph, victory and the pursuit of honour.

The mountain range and landscape reflects the mighty Shivalik hills and Himalayas that surround the Udhampur region in Jammu and Kashmir. JSS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY The emblem of JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU) features the picture of Sri Adi Jagadguru Bagavatpada, which is ensconced in the letter ‘ॐ’ drawn as a border. In the border at the top 'ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ' in Kannada  meaning ‘Work is Worship’ and at the bottom ‘JSS Maha Vidyapeetha’ are written. These are further circumscribed by three pairs of two overlapping arrows in orange and blue forming a revolving pattern also forming a hexagon. The emblem denotes constant evolution and growth. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
