GMR GROUP

In 1978, when G M Rao started off with a small jute mill and established, over three decades later, what is known today as GMR Group. GMR today is a major player in the infrastructure sector, with world class projects in India and abroad. GMR Group is headquartered in New Delhi and has been developing projects in high growth areas such as airports, energy, transportation and urban infrastructure. Its logo in the form of a monogram features ‘GMR’ written with bold sans serif letters with sharp trimmings and precise ends in blue, red and orange colours. The ‘M’ is made up of two vertical pointers, simulating infrastructure and construction placed above ‘G’ and ‘R’. The colours used are prominent and they show strength and dynamism of the group in its chosen field of business.

GOKHALE INSTITUTE OF POLITICS AND ECONOMICS The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPS), Pune, was established in 1930 by the Servants of India Society (SIS). It is the oldest research and training institute in economics in the country. Gokhale was the one who founded the Servants of India Society in 1905.
