Inside the circle are the motifs of a nose cone of a rocket; an inverted triangle; a key, a nut with bolt and double head nut and bolts representing science, technology and engineering and the name of its place. Below the circular insignia, on a yellow banner with red outline the university’s motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या परम् भूषणम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ is inscribed in blue.
