(KTDC) is a word mark written in sans serif lowercase typeface with rounded stroke endings in green with the counters of ‘k, a and a’ are filled with yellow, red and light blue colours denoting being free and casual. The letter ‘l’ is depicted as a coconut tree referring to the State of Kerala. All these are supported by a pair of blue wavy lines depicting the waters, sea and beaches of the State. The logo is interesting, colourful, attractive and friendly.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR The University of Jammu and Kashmir was founded in 1948. In the year 1969 it was bifurcated into University of Kashmir (UoK) at Srinagar and University of Jammu at Jammu.
