CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
With the goal of promoting better corporate governance practices in India, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, on October 1, 2003 set up National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In the year 2010, stakeholders in NFCG has been expanded with the inclusion of ICWAI and the National Stock Exchange. Its grey coloured logo has its acronym written in sanserif italics bold and its name is written in black colour bold italics Sans serif.

SILVER OAK UNIVERSITY The Silver Oak University (SOU) was established in 2009 by the Silver Oak Group of Institutes. It has been accorded the status of Private University under Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. Its universal human values are reflected in its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं परमम् भूषणम् ’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ and ‘Education to Innovation’. THE MATHRUBHUMI PRINTING AND PUBLISHING COMPANY LTD. Mathrubhumi is a Malayalam newspaper that is published from Kerala, India by The Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Company Ltd.. It was founded by K. P. Kesava Menon, a volunteer in the Indian freedom struggle against the British. The word ‘Mathrubhumi’ translates to 'Mother Land'. It is the second most widely read newspaper daily in Kerala. It publishes a variety of magazines and supplements including the weekly literary magazine, Mathrubhumi Azhchappathippu. It is printed from ten places in Kerala, four places in the rest of India and two places outside India. Its logo and masthead is a stylised calligraphic writing of its name in bold strokes.

NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY The red colour insignia of the Netaji Subhas University (NSU) has a shield holding a traditional lamp above which the acronym and place of the university are placed. The shield has a thick border. The top portion of the shield has another border ending as banners on either side carry the year of establishment of the university. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

BENGALURU NORTH UNIVERSITY The Government of Karnataka has notified the establishment of Bengaluru North University by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University through its Gazette Notification on August 13, 2015 and was inaugurated on September 21, 2017. This is a State University located in Kolar in Karnataka. The emblem of the university depicts the importance of the jurisdictional area through its geographical features, scientific development and the rhythm of people’s lives. The circular emblem has three concentric circles, which represent the conscious, subconscious and dreams. The outermost circle in yellow represents the universe, power, intellect, honour, enlightenment, timelessness, positivity and the cyclic movement of life; the cyan circle represents the earth and the blue circle represents the university simplicity, purity, openness and optimism. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal. Below the pictorial its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् अनन्तम्’  (Slokh 1, Sri Govindashtakam)  meaning ‘Knowledge is Infinite’ is inscribed. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
