HIMALAYAN UNIVERSITY

Himalayan University (HU) has been established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as per Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The emblem of the university has a blue and white mountain with the yellow rays of a rising sun in the background. This is placed in a circle with orange borderlines. These are ensconced by a black circular borderline, in which its name is written. The bottom half of the border has an orange banner on which ‘University’ is written with stars supporting at each end. Below these, its motto ‘Where Your Future Comes First’ is written. The motifs of mountains and sun rays depict the geography of the land and the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
