COMMON SERVICES CENTRES

To deliver a plethora of digital services (eServices) to the citizens including the e-Governance services within the reach of the citizen, the internet enabled access points Common Services Centres (CSCs) were set up. The primary objective of the CSC was to avoid interactions of citizens with Government offices bringing transparency and efficiency in the delivery of ICT services. The CSCs aims to provide individual access to the internet to citizens in rural India where the services based on the internet is very low. The CSC Scheme was initially launched in September, 2006 under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), with an aim to cover all six lakh census villages by one lakh CSCs, as per 1:6 ratio equitably spread across rural India. The CSC logo is a word mark logo which has been designed keeping in mind the aim to reduce /eliminate the digital divide.

Its name is written around the gear wheel and its motto in Sanskrit  meaning is placed at the bottom. The mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational equality, achievement, tradition and rights of passage and the gear wheel represents, efficiency, interconnectedness, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY The National Law Institute University (NLIU) has been established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and provide the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998. The red circular emblem of the university has its acronym written in the middle, topped by a yellowish drop of enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom and realisation. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्नवान सुखमेधते’ meaning ‘The Diligent Grows Happily’ is inscribed. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the university, its place and its year of establishment.

SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Shree Somnath Sanskrit University (SSSU) was created by the Gujarat State government through the Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act in 2005 for the research and teaching of Sanskrit literature. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp placed on a bunch of palm leaf manuscripts and placed in a yellow circle with an orange border. It is ensconced by a yellow and orange border on which its name and place is written in Devanagari. Below the circle, on a banner, the motto of the university is inscribed with a quote from Kalidasa’s Meghdootam 20.
