COMMON SERVICES CENTRES

To deliver a plethora of digital services (eServices) to the citizens including the e-Governance services within the reach of the citizen, the internet enabled access points Common Services Centres (CSCs) were set up. The primary objective of the CSC was to avoid interactions of citizens with Government offices bringing transparency and efficiency in the delivery of ICT services. The CSCs aims to provide individual access to the internet to citizens in rural India where the services based on the internet is very low. The CSC Scheme was initially launched in September, 2006 under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), with an aim to cover all six lakh census villages by one lakh CSCs, as per 1:6 ratio equitably spread across rural India. The CSC logo is a word mark logo which has been designed keeping in mind the aim to reduce /eliminate the digital divide.

GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, REASI (GDC REASI) The emblem of Government Degree College, Reasi (GDC Reasi) features a circle housing the motifs of a landscape of a mountain range with river flowing, a lightning bolt or power symbol and the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written. The name and place of the college is written around the circle. A purple laurel supports the seal. The mountains and river refer to the local topography of snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountain ranges; the lightning bolt symbiosis raw energy, power, enlightenment, and the sparking of knowledge; and the laurels represent a traditional laurel wreath, which symbolises academic triumph, victory and the pursuit of honour.

These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The mountain range and landscape reflects the mighty Shivalik hills and Himalayas that surround the Udhampur region in Jammu and Kashmir. The red sun casting radiating lines across the upper gold half of the seal represents enlightenment, dawn and the dispelling of darkness (ignorance) through education, which symbolises the institutional goal to build a vibrant, knowledge-based society. JSS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY The emblem of JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU) features the picture of Sri Adi Jagadguru Bagavatpada, which is ensconced in the letter ‘ॐ’ drawn as a border. In the border at the top 'ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ' in Kannada  meaning ‘Work is Worship’ and at the bottom ‘JSS Maha Vidyapeetha’ are written. These are further circumscribed by three pairs of two overlapping arrows in orange and blue forming a revolving pattern also forming a hexagon. The emblem denotes constant evolution and growth. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
