COMMON SERVICES CENTRES

To deliver a plethora of digital services (eServices) to the citizens including the e-Governance services within the reach of the citizen, the internet enabled access points Common Services Centres (CSCs) were set up. The primary objective of the CSC was to avoid interactions of citizens with Government offices bringing transparency and efficiency in the delivery of ICT services. The CSCs aims to provide individual access to the internet to citizens in rural India where the services based on the internet is very low. The CSC Scheme was initially launched in September, 2006 under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), with an aim to cover all six lakh census villages by one lakh CSCs, as per 1:6 ratio equitably spread across rural India. The CSC logo is a word mark logo which has been designed keeping in mind the aim to reduce /eliminate the digital divide.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR The University of Jammu and Kashmir was founded in 1948. In the year 1969 it was bifurcated into University of Kashmir (UoK) at Srinagar and University of Jammu at Jammu. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears.
