The green colour oval emblem of ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology (NINFET) houses the motifs of a gear wheel, laboratory flasks and a plant with leaves growing from the base. This assembly is circumscribed by its name and the year of establishment. The motifs represent science, engineering and the plants used for the production of fibres. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
