Knight Riders Sports Pvt. Ltd. (KRSPL). KRSPL operates a professional twenty20 cricket team - Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as one of the teams participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). KKR are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League. The franchise is owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta. The Knight Riders play at the Eden Gardens stadium. The official theme of the team is Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re (We will Perform, Fight and Win!) and the official colours are purple and gold. Its gold and purple emblem of helmet and shield of equestrian knights protecting their lords has an angled and blazing (Burganet) helmet atop a shield and its name is on the shield in gold colour. The graphics and the stylized font are custom designed to give the feel of a modern-day sports fighter.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written.
