Below this its motto ‘Emphasis on Life’ is written. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour brown symbolises  earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

BABA GHULAM SHAH BADSHAH UNIVERSITY Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002 and the same is recognised by the AICTE and UGC, New Delhi, under sections 2F and 12 B. THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion.
