NORTH ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE
The North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC) is located in Sheesh Mahal, Patiala. Patiala is the city of gardens and universities. It was inaugurated on November 6, 1985. The Centre has been registered under the registration of Societies Act 1860. The NZCC is one of the seven cultural centers established in the country to strengthen the ancient roots of Indian culture and evolve and enrich composite national culture. The Centre comprises regions from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan and Union Teritory Chandigarh. Its logo has a pentagonal tribal motif representing five major regions of the centre depicted in the form of a tile over orange background.

GOVERNMENT GANDHI MEMORIAL SCIENCE COLLEGE, JAMMU (GGM SC JAMMU) The emblem of Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu (GGM SC Jammu) features three orange and cyan feathers held by a royal coronet with a scroll inscribed with the motto ‘Ich Dien’ of the college in Old German, which translates to ‘I Serve’. The name of the college surmounts the motifs and its year of establishment is written at the bottom. The college was originally established in 1905 as the Prince of Wales College to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales (later King George V) to Jammu. ADESH UNIVERSITY Adesh University, Bathinda, the flagship academic and research endeavour of Adesh Foundation, a pioneer in health care, medical and technical education came into existence in the State of Punjab in July 2012 by Act No. 6 of 2012 of Government of Punjab, notified under Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary) dated July 10, 2012 under Punjab Private Universities policy 2010. The logo of the university has a pictorial and a word mark in orange and green.
