The emblem of Jaipur National University (JNU) has a shield in tones of orange housing the motifs of a sun and a book. The shield is supported by the university’s motto in Sanskrit ‘गुणस्याभरणं ज्ञानं’ meaning ‘Knowledge Adorns Good Qualities’ and a pair of laurels. Below these, on a golden yellow banner the name of the university is written. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the open book symbolises knowledge, learning, education and wisdom; the laurels symbolise ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KAKINADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in the year 2008 vide Act No. 30 of 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. Consequent to the trifurcation of the JNTU, Hyderabad, it was notified as JNTUK Kakinada by the Act of legislature in 2008. The emblem of the university has a red rose with a pair of leaves ensconced by a gear wheel. These are circumscribed by a border on which the name and palace of the university is inscribed. INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country. Its logo has a wine glass with a bunch of grapes and vine leaf in white in a light green circle, which is surrounded by its name in black sans serif text.
