The arch bears its name in Devanagari. The Goddess represents learning, education, wisdom, knowledge and learning. The motto in Sanskrit ‘पावका नः सरस्वती’ (Rig Veda 1.3.10) meaning ‘Sarasvatī, the Purifier’ is placed below the motif of Goddess.
