JANARDAN RAI NAGAR RAJASTHAN VIDYAPEETH 

Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth is a Deemed University in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It became a deemed university in 1987. The circular emblem of the university has a tower of a temple housing a man and woman worshipping Goddess Saraswati supported by an open book. On the pages of the book its motto in Sanskrit ‘सरस्वती देवयन्तो हवन्ते’ (10.17.7 Rigveda) meaning ‘The Devout Invoke Saraswati’ is written. At the bottom a traditional lamp is placed. Below these on a banner the name of the university and place are written in Devanagari. At the bottom, on a banner its year of founding is written. The Goddess Saraswati is the god for learning, knowledge and wisdom; the open book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the traditional lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. The motifs inside the petals refer to the applications of water in daily life of society.

The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey.
