RAS BIHARI BOSE SUBHARTI UNIVERSITY |
The Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University (RBBSU) is a State university which was established by Mahayana-Theravada-Vajrayana Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust in 2016. The red and green circular emblem of the university has a green globe supported by an open book, which is held by a pair of hands in brown colour, below which its year of establishment is written. These motifs are ensconced by a red circular border which carries the name of the university and place. It is supported on both sides by laurels. Below these on a green banner its motto ‘शिक्षा, सेवा, संस्कार एवं राष्ट्रियता’ is written in Devanagari meaning ‘Education, Service, Culture and Nationalism’. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom and the laurels are symbols of victory and achievement. The colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
