This is ensconced by a white circular border with blue outlines on which the name and place of the university is inscribed. Below the circular seal on a white banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘अत्त दीपो भव’ meaning ‘Be Your Own Lamp’ is inscribed. The torch held by multiple hands symbolises eternity, collectivism and growth and the open book symbolises education, knowledge, learning and wisdom.
