The emblem of Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) has a red shield with thick golden borderline. The shield houses three pillars with three flames and a pen is placed on the pillars horizontally. At the left top corner of the shield three eight pointed golden stars are placed. The pen represents freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the three pillars denote dedication, determination and discipline; the flames denote the ignition of creativity, wisdom and character; the shield signifies protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the three stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the colour red signifies signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour gold wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
