PES University, located in Bangalore is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. Founded in 1972, PES is now amongst India’s premier teaching and research universities. Its current logo has a compass rose, also called a wind rose, rose of the winds or compass star in blue colour placed in an orange circle. It is surrounded by a thick blue circle with a niche at the north point, symbolising the northern point or the pole of the compass lets the students break the boundaries into the new world. The name of the university is written adjacent to the emblem.
