Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram was established in the year 2007 as a constituent college of JNTU, Hyderabad. JNTU, Hyderabad was trifurcated into three universities by the Andhra Pradesh Act No. 30 of 2008 and since Augustt 24, 2008, the college has become the constituent college of JNTU, Kakinada. Through University Act No. 22 of 2021, JNTU, Kakinada is bifurcated and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada, Vizianagaram came into existence as a separate university vide Government Order Ms. No. 3 dated January 1, 2022. These are circumscribed by a border on which the name and palace of the university is inscribed. At the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written. The rose is symbolic of Jawaharlal Nehru, who wore a rose on his coat and the gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; engineering and technology.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
