The circular green colour emblem of Arunachal Pradesh  State Pollution Control Board (APSPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with ‘Arunachal Pradesh’ written in between.  Its acronym is written below the globe. All these are ensconced by a thick thick circular border. The colour green symbolises all the elements of nature, agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

SRMU is built upon the excellence of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC) in engineering and business education. Its emblem has a red pot of nectar spewing out from a red vessel which has its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Knowledge enjoys Immortality’ taken from Ishopanishad Verse 11, written on and supported by the blue globe with latitudinal and longitudinal lines. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) was established by an Act of State Legislature on January 16, 1997, to promote technical, management and pharmaceutical education in the State. It got its current name in 2015.
