The circular emblem of National Medical Commission (NMC) has a pictorial of three persons in Indian National Tricolour. The motifs are supported on either side by a tricolour band, supported by its name in Devanagari and surmounted by its name in English. All these are placed in a grey circle. Dhanvantari is the physician of Devas in Hindu philosophy.
