DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER HANDLOOMS

The emblem of the Development Commissioner Handlooms (DCH) has a white circle with blue outline housing a national tricolour weave of eight threads surrounded by ‘India’ in orange  ‘Handloom’ in green. The circle is ensconced by a tricolour geometric lotus pattern. The emblem depicts both the handloom textiles and the intricate weave and design of handloom fabrics.

The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
