University (JECRC) is a shield holding the motifs a bulb denoting ideas, innovation and creativity; a sprocket wheel representing engineering, precision and motion; an hourglass denoting the passage and preciousness of time; palm of right hand symbolising safety, caution and security; a trophy cup denoting success, hard work and determination; a helical chain of DNA representing biological sciences; an athlete at the finish line denoting finishing of job at hand and sense of purpose; symbol of infinity representing mathematical sciences and the nature and scope of universe; a pair of leaves denoting nature and being fresh; a flying bird meaning fulfilling aspirations and freedom; a flower denoting purpose and meaning in life; a person doing yoga denoting spiritual enlightenment; an open book denoting education, knowledge, learning and wisdom and a globe meaning universe and universal application of human ideas. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery. At the right of the pictorial its name is written in classical serif typeface and its motto ‘Build Your World’ is written below.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu commenced in 1985. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. The motto of the college ‘கற்றனைத்தூறும் அறிவு’ (396, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed below the pictorial.
