MARTHANDAM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (MCET) The emblem of Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college housing the motifs of a computer, a transmission tower, a satellite dish antenna and an open book along with the initials ‘MECT’. Below gear, on a banner, the motto of the college, ‘Aspire Act Achieve’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.
