GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, NAGALAPURAM (GASCNPM) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Nagalapuram (GASCNPM) features a blue circle housing the motifs of a yellow shield inscribed with the motifs of a satellite, an open book and a computer and a pair of laurels. On a red banner placed below the shield, the motto of the college in Tamil is inscribed. A white circular border ensconcing the blue circle is inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the satellite and computer refers to science and technology; the book refers to learning, knowledge, education and wisdom; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
