GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, AVINASHI (AGASCA) The cyan and magenta emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Avinashi (AGASCA) features an open book supporting an abstract green tree ensconced by a border inscribed with the name of the college and place in Tamil. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஒழுக்கம் உயர்வு கல்வி மேன்மை’ meaning ‘Discipline Excellence Education Achievement’ is inscribed. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity.
