Below the seal, on a green banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘வையத் தலைமை கொள்’ meaning ‘Assume World Leadership’ supported by a pair of ears of corn. The scenery refers to geography of the locale; the books refer to learning, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the turmeric and corns refer to the local produce; the octagon  symbolises  transition, rebirth, and cosmic balance.
