GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, VALPARAI (GASC VALPARAI) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Valparai (GASC Valparai) features a shield supported by a pair of laurels, inscribed with the motifs of the Great Indian Hornbill, heads of a woman and a man, a twig of leaves and a torch with flame and placed in a blue circle. The name and place of the college in Tamil and an open book are placed around the circle. On a red banner placed below the circle, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘நேர்பட ஒழுகு’ (73, Aathichoodi, Avvaiyar) meaning ‘Walk the Honest Path’ is inscribed.
