UTTARAKHAND RESIDENTIAL UNIVERSDITY Uttarakhand Residential University (URU) also called Uttarakhand Aawasiya Viswavidyalaya came into existence on September 6, 2016 by the Act No.20 of the State of Uttarakhand. Its logo is circular with a shield, a banner and a blue border. The shield and the banner are placed inside the border on a tricolour background. The shield has a blue border and is crested with a red rising sun from the Himalayan Mountains, which are supported by an open book with a pen and bulb on it. Below this a ball of flowers is placed.
