Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஒழுக்கம் உயர்வு கல்வி மேன்மை’ meaning ‘Discipline Excellence Education Achievement’ is inscribed. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity.
